Mothers Day/Fathers Day
I was recently talking about two National observancies (Mothers Day and Fathers Day) with my oldest granddaughter (16), and here is what I spilled out...almost apologetically.
I think it is important for our children to grow up with two active parents in the home because...Fathers teach us what is exciting in life, and how to survive. But mothers teach us about love, what makes life beautiful, and how to behave.... at least that is the way it has worked for me.
No doubt you have your own version of this theme.
