Happy Easter to all

This attached Easter message came to me from a fellow retired Veteran in Florida, who devotes almost all his time to serving Veterans.....without being paid for it. He is a Veteran of armed combat in Viet Nam, where he was awarded the Silver Star for valor. He is a lawyer, who watches Veterans issues in the Florida Legislature and U.S. Congress like a hawk! I do not always agree with him, but I respect his steadfast self-imposed pledge to serve Veterans.

Having been deployed on National holidays in my past, I always think of those in our U.S. Military who are serving on the ramparts of liberty, and thereby unable to be home with their families at such times of rememberance of those who have brought us the freedoms we have today. I think it was President Reagan who observed there is no place in the World where freedom exists, where it was not won....and maintained.....without armed conflict. Sad, but a true frailty of human conflict spanning the centuries. Jesus experienced that, as well.

Have a glorious Easter, but remember the troops who make it possible for us to still celebrate. Most of them are in their first 5 years of adult life; we ask the impossible of them, and THEY DELIVER!

Greeting & Happy Easter to All;

Please keep the following in mind where you are enjoying this most holy day, thanks, CDP

Veritas vos Liberabit—Semper Vigilo, Fortis, Paratus, et Fidelis! (Please pray for our Patriot Armed Forces standing in harm’s way around the world, and for their families—especially families of those fallen Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, who granted their lives in defense of American liberty.)
